Our Mission
Thousands of missionaries have dedicated their lives to proclaiming the Gospel. Yet each year, approximately 20% leave the field — wounded, discouraged, and without adequate support. He Restoreth Ministries exists to fill that gap.
God has provided a beautiful 114-acre property in the foothills of southern Oregon, and He has equipped Brent and Ruth Ullom — who themselves served as missionaries in Ecuador and grew up on the mission field — to minister to hurting servants of God with compassion, wisdom, and the love of Christ.

About He Restoreth Ministries
Our Story
Thousands of missionaries have sacrificed greatly to carry the Gospel to the nations. Yet on the front lines, these spiritual soldiers face extraordinary levels of trauma, stress, and conflict — and many return home wounded, discouraged, and broken. Each year, approximately 20% leave the mission field entirely.
Tragically, for many of these servants, there are few places of genuine healing and rest. He Restoreth Ministries was founded to fill that gap. God has provided a beautiful property in southern Oregon, and He has equipped Brent and Ruth Ullom — who have walked the same road — to minister to hurting missionaries with wisdom and compassion.
In Luke 10, Jesus commended the Good Samaritan — the one who took the time and bore the cost to care for a wounded stranger. He Restoreth Ministries invites you to be that kind of Good Samaritan to missionaries who have given everything.

Our Team
He Restoreth Ministries is led by a missionary family who understands firsthand the joys and hardships of life on the field. The Ulloms served in Ecuador for six years, and both Brent and Ruth grew up as Missionary Kids — Brent in Haiti, Ruth in Peru.
Brent holds a Master's degree in Clinical Psychology from Wheaton College, specializing in marriage and family, cross-cultural, and crisis counseling. He served as a missionary in Ecuador for six years and brings over 25 years of experience caring for missionaries.
Ruth holds a degree in education and is gifted in hospitality and creating an environment of warmth and welcome. She brings a genuine love for people and a servant's heart to every guest who stays at the retreat.
Brent and Ruth have four adult children: Timothy (married to Ashley, with daughter Amelia), Hannah, Rebekah, and Elisabeth. Their family story is one of faith, sacrifice, and God's faithfulness — and it is out of that story that this ministry was born.
Our Beliefs
He Restoreth Ministries is anchored in historic, evangelical Christian faith.
We believe in one God, Creator of all things, holy, infinitely perfect, and eternally existing in a loving unity of three equally divine Persons: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. Having limitless knowledge and sovereign power, God has graciously purposed from eternity to redeem a people for Himself and to make all things new for His own glory.
We believe that God has spoken in the Scriptures, both Old and New Testaments, through the words of human authors. As the verbally inspired Word of God, the Bible is without error in the original writings, the complete revelation of His will for salvation, and the ultimate authority by which every realm of human knowledge and endeavor should be judged.
We believe that God created Adam and Eve in His image, but they sinned when tempted by Satan. In union with Adam, human beings are sinners by nature and by choice, alienated from God and under His wrath. Only through God's saving work in Jesus Christ can we be rescued, reconciled, and renewed.
We believe that Jesus Christ is God incarnate, fully God and fully man, one Person in two natures. Jesus — Israel's promised Messiah — was conceived through the Holy Spirit and born of the virgin Mary. He lived a sinless life, was crucified, rose bodily from the dead, ascended into heaven, and sits at the right hand of God as our High Priest and Advocate.
We believe that Jesus Christ, as our representative and substitute, shed His blood on the cross as the perfect, all-sufficient sacrifice for our sins. His atoning death and victorious resurrection constitute the only ground for salvation.
We believe that the Holy Spirit, in all that He does, glorifies the Lord Jesus Christ. He convicts the world of its guilt, regenerates sinners, and in Him believers are baptized into union with Christ. He also indwells, illuminates, guides, equips, and empowers believers for Christ-like living and service.
We believe that the true church comprises all who have been justified by God's grace through faith alone in Christ alone. They are united by the Holy Spirit in the body of Christ, of which He is the Head. The Lord Jesus mandated two ordinances — baptism and the Lord's Supper — which visibly and tangibly express the Gospel.
We believe that God commands everyone everywhere to believe the Gospel by turning to Him in repentance and receiving the Lord Jesus Christ. God will raise the dead bodily and judge the world, assigning the unbeliever to eternal condemnation and the believer to eternal blessedness with the Lord in the new heaven and new earth, to the praise of His glorious grace.
